Leading on Learning

This is a hands-on guide for line managers. Ever wondered how to make learning and development an integral part of your team's daily business? The 'Leading on Learning' guide will show you how to build a learning culture without the need for a huge investment of time and money. It looks at the ideal manager in terms of developing staff and gives you practical suggestions for planning, evaluation, promoting Skills for Life and overcoming some of the obstacles to learning. This useful guide also includes tools to help you build a culture of learning.

Learning for Work CD

The Learning for Work booklets, published by the Campaign for Learning and Workbase Training, are now on a CD. Purchasing the CD allows you to print off and photocopy as often as you like within the purchasing organisation. The CD includes 19 workbooks which focus on essential skills for the workplace from improving communication to developing written skills. To find out more, please visit www.southgatepublishers.co.uk.

Tackling Management

Tackling Management has been written for first time and middle managers, to help them manage themselves, their motivation and their own resilience. Whereas other management books inform people about what to do with and for others, this book seeks to help people know what to do for themselves. With resources and a to-do list, you’ll also have the opportunity to reflect on where you are now and where you can go in the future.
