Goodbye Naz!

We are sorry to announce that Naz Khan, Enfield Project Coordinator, has found herself a new job. Naz left Enfield in December to join the Institue of Education. Naz was integral to the project and will be sorely missed especially when it comes to organisation! We would like to thank her for all her help, support and enthusiasm over the last couple of years and we wish her well in her new position. The good news is that Naz has agreed to stay on as a member of the Advisory Board for the project so we won't be losing her completely.

Project Residential Event 2006

The annual project residential is being held this month in Bristol. We are very excited to be joined by Alistair Smith, Chris Watkins and Colleen McLaughlin.

Alistair Smith - the name speaks for itself!!!! but if not visit www.alite.co.uk.

Chris Watkins from the Institute of Education, London has written a book called ‘Classrooms as Learning Communities: what's in it for schools’, which can be found at http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0415327806

Colleen McLaughlin from Cambridge University is currently working on two products which have relevance to our research: Practitioner Research and Enquiry in Networked Learning Communities (National College of School Leadership) and School University Partnerships in Educational Research (information about the latter project can be found at: http://www.educ.cam.ac.uk/rsp/projects/super.html

An event report will be available shortly afterwards from the L2L website.
