Learning to learn for life: research and practical examples for the foundation stage and key stage 1
by Rebecca Goodbourn, Steve Higgins, Susie Parsons, Kate Wall and Julia Wright

Learning to learn for life is the first book to be produced from the Campaign for Learning's three year major project which is evaluating learning to learn approaches in over thirty schools. The book is divided into five sections: the first and second give an overview of the whole project, what it is trying to do, how it is being conducted, and results to date. The third section contains contributions from eight of the project schools. Each school describes its own classroom research focus, how they have implemented the chosen approaches such as formative assessment and parental involvement and the findings so far. Section four and section five look at how learning to learn can be developed in a school and points to further resources.
