Dads in Demand Project Officer Post
The National Family Learning Network (NFLN) is a partnership between Campaign for Learning, ContinYou and NIACE. The NFLN is a network that provides support and information for nearly 10,000 members working with an estimated 5 million families each year. This exciting new post is funded by The Big Lottery Fund, as part of a new infrastructure development project to extend the services and information available to family learning practitioners across England. This post will be on a fixed contract until May 2012.
Project Officer Dads in Demand
Salary up to £28,947 per annum
Officer Scale - up to LGA scale point 35

Purpose of the post:
The purpose of the post is to manage the effective delivery of a new three year project, funded by The Big Lottery. The Dads in Demand Project will enable children and their dads, granddads, stepdads or other males carers to enjoy innovative and stimulating family learning opportunities that embed Learning to Learn principles in a context of animation and new media and technology and respond directly to families' needs and interests.
