National Learning at Work Day (17 May 2012) is a unique national flagship event for learning and development. Every May, special learning activities and celebrations are organised by companies in thousands of workplaces throughout the country.
Our sponsors help us to make Learning at Work Day more prominent, provide free support and resources, and give due recognition to organisers’ achievements.
Why sponsor Learning at Work Day?
The Campaign for Learning co-ordinates the Day nationally to:
· bring attention to the range of benefits that learning and development opportunities bring to both organisations and individuals
· highlight the inspiring and effective approaches that companies use all year round to maximise the benefits of learning for all employees
· invite organisations to use Learning at Work Day as a high profile opportunity to promote learning and development and as a catalyst for change

· The Learning at Work Day website receives over 30,000 unique visits in the run up to the Day.
· The regular newsletter is sent to 11,000 registered and opted-in workplace contacts of which two thirds are directors and senior managers
· Learning at Work Day features in a range of trade press including Personnel Today, HR Magazine and Personnel Zone as well as national and local papers.
· High profile companies take part every year including major high street brands and international businesses.
· 97% of organisations that run Learning at Work Day say they will take part again.

Learning at Work Day Launch
The national launch of Learning at Work Day is a prestigious event that features high profile speakers and is attended by senior representatives from across the learning and development world. Sponsors’ receive prominent branding at the event and on all launch materials as well as VIP invitations.
Learning at Work Day Awards
The Learning at Work Day Awards recognise organisations that best demonstrate how their activities support learning and skills development and tie into longer-term business objectives. Sponsors are able to develop an award category that reflects their own business interests in partnership with the Campaign for Learning.
Learning at Work Day Competitions
Our national competitions have featured short film making and dream job swaps, have encouraged creativity and reflection. We can create a bespoke competition that suits your aims and ethos.
E-newsletter
We have a regular e-shot that goes out to 11,000 opted in contacts that have a responsibility or role in training, learning and development and human resources. Two thirds are directors and senior managers. There is an equal representation of private and public sector organisations. Sponsors are able to support the series of newsletter or include an insert in one newsletter.
Learning at Work Day Packs and Promotional Goodies
Our popular Learning at Work Day packs include learning guides and branded promotional goodies and are distributed to thousands of employees to celebrate Learning at Work Day.
