The approach covered by this practical workshop has been proven to raise educational achievement in children as it involves embedding learning to learn principles in a context of animation and new media and technology which respond directly to families' needs, ideas and interests.

What the workshop covers: Participants on this workshop will gain practical knowledge in how to set up and run a course for fathers and children that involves the development of innovative learning activities using animation and cartoon software; recruit fathers onto the course; and evaluate the impact of the course on children's achievement.
