Learning for a stronger society: Recommendations for a new government

April 2010

The Campaign for Learning has been working for 15 years to help develop a system that gives everyone, whatever their age or circumstances, access to learning that builds confidence, skills and knowledge and enhances lives and communities. 'Learning for a stronger society' offers a radical programme for the reform of learning in Britain in the second decade of the 21st Century. We ask the new government to implement our recommendations in order to develop and expand learning opportunities that will lead to a stronger, wealthier and more vibrant society.
