Policy Events
The Campaign for Learning works to shape learning policy to help create a society where individuals are able to learn to sustain them for life. Our regular policy briefings are a key strand in this work. They respond quickly to the publication of key policy papers, and offer essential information and analysis to inform the work of policy makers and practitioners. The briefings feature high profile speakers and bring together policy makers, senior level decision makers, education thinkers, learning professionals and practitioners to discuss the emerging issues for learning, education and skills. Not only do our policy events reflect the current key debates but they consciously seek to pre-empt issues, shape policy thinking and join-up government policy areas.
Our delegates come from a broad spectrum of organisations including: national and local government, sector skills councils, Learning and Skills Councils, trade unions, schools, colleges, training providers, adult and community learning organisations, and information, advice and guidance bodies.
'The courage to start the debate and bring it to people's attention.'
'Stimulating and informative - Thank you!'
'Balance of information, discussion and opportunity for ongoing reflection.'
