The Consultants
The Campaign for Learning with Jackie Beere OBE will lead a team of consultants who are all teachers or leaders who have been implementing L2L in their own schools.
Jackie Beere OBE
"Jackie's extremely articulate delivery triggered many thoughts"
Jackie, until recently, was Headteacher of Campion School, a large comprehensive Language College in Northants. She spent three years as an Advanced Skills Teacher leading and implementing innovative Teaching and Learning initiatives including KS3 and 4 Learning to Learn and Thinking Skills programmes prior to this appointment. She was awarded the OBE in November 2002 for services to education, having trained many teachers and school leaders in the latest theory and practice of leaning to learn and emotional intelligence.
Jackie is also an Associate Tutor at Leicester University where she created an MBA module in 'The Effective Management of Teaching and Learning'. She published a book in May 2005 called 'Creating the Learning School' with David Middlewood from Lincoln University and Richard Parker, Head of Beauchamps College.
