Organising a Family Learning Festival Event
Family Learning Festival (FLF) offers you a chance to do something different and make a difference in your community. FLF event organisers have reported a range of benefits from involvement in the Festival. By taking part you could:
- Attract new audiences and build new partnerships
- Encourage and enable families to start a learning journey
- Reach your business or organisational targets
- Raise the profile of your organisation within your community
- Enhance your credibility as a venue for families
- Pilot an idea for a project and collect evidence on the impact
- Apply for funding – for example through local trusts and Awards for All – to run an event
- Develop your skills amongst employees
The Family Learning Festival team offer telephone and email support to event organisers. We can help you with planning, resources, promotional items and PR support. If you would like to organise a Family Learning Festival event, follow the steps below.
- Register your interest in FLF 2011 either online or via our call centre on 020 7930 1111. This will give you access to all our planning materials and resources and you'll receive our regular newsletter with special offers and updates.
- Once registered, click onto our ‘planning your event’ section for everything you need to plan your event from activity ideas, themes for 2011 to how you might evaluate the success of your Day.
