Election 2010: The education and skills policies of the main political parties

With the general election on Thursday 6th May and the manifestos of the main political parties due to be published from 12th April onwards, this session will compare and contrast the education and skills policies of the Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat parties.

Detailed presentations will be delivered on each party’s specifics with regards to education and skills policies. Tricia Hartley, Chief Executive of the Campaign will chair the event with a summary provided by Professor Bob Fryer. As usual delegates will have plenty of opportunities to discuss the issues and raise questions.
