19 Buckingham Street
London
WC2N 6EF

06 July 2009

Time: 2pm - 3.30pm
Cost: £99 plus VAT. Friends membership rate £89.10 plus VAT

We are delighted that Gordon Marsden MP a member of the Select Committee with responsibility for HE will be joining us to discuss the issue of HE in the new department. Gordon will be discussing some of the findings by the former Innovation, Universities, Skills and Science Select Committee report on the student experience of HE. In addition he will be discussing where policy might develop with respect to part time HE students bearing in mind the forthcoming HE tuition fee review and the recession.

Mark Corney, policy adviser to the Campaign for Learning will act as respondent based on the Campaign’s report ‘Higher education and the cuckoo in the nest’. As usual delegates will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and discuss the issues.
